Ukraine has dealt a devastating blow to President Vladimir Putin, destroying Russian tanks and armored vehicles in a series of fierce attacks.
The country's Ministry of Defense reported that Ukrainian military personnel used a first-person view drone to destroy one tank and three infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), successfully defending the positions of the Ukrainian 79th Air Assault Brigade. 4,444 images of the attack were shared online, showing the moment the FPV drone hit the target. Other clips show explosions and tall columns of smoke.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense shared on Twitter: The occupying forces tried to attack the positions of the 79th Air Assault Brigade with three infantry fighting vehicles and one tank. Our brave warriors repelled the attack. Bravo! "
Another video shows a drone taking a direct hit on a Russian T-80 tank. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense captioned the video "Straight to the target!" and attributed it to the country's Presidential Brigade, the Express reported.
Additional footage from Ukrainian security officials shows several Russian military vehicles blown up and smoke billowing into the sky along with raging fires.
The dramatic footage emerged as Ukraine announced Sunday that it had attacked an oil depot in southern Russia that supplies Russian forces. In response, Russia struck the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, killing five civilians and wounding 15.
Ukrainian military leaders claimed responsibility for the daring drone attack on an oil depot in Russia's Kursk region that is said to supply Russian forces. The attack caused a "massive" explosion and a large fire that likely engulfed containers of petroleum products.
In a statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said, "The Armed Forces will continue to use all means to weaken the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and to force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine." Local authorities reported that an oil depot in the Kursk Oblast was set on fire by a drone attack. Acting Governor Alexei Smirnov reported that three fuel tanks caught fire on Sunday morning and firefighters fought the inferno. However, no injuries were reported.
The Kursk region borders Ukraine's Sumy Oblast, and Ukrainian forces have been attacking targets on Russian territory, including oil depots and military infrastructure, with drones and other weapons. Ukrainian leaders have been lobbying Western countries to develop more advanced weapons to attack higher-value targets in Russia.
Nevertheless, Russian soldiers are gradually advancing in the embattled Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine, and moving west towards Pokrovsk and Krakhov.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday that Russian forces had seized two adjacent villages, Prololes and Evhenivka, about 30 kilometers east of Pokrovsk.
Earlier on Saturday (July 27), Moscow claimed it had also captured the nearby village of Rozvatke, one of nearly a dozen it has said it has captured in the region this month.
