Iran promises to deliver a final and strong response to Israel, issuing a stern warning.

Iran has stated that its reaction to the assassination of a senior Hamas member by Israel will be decisive, as fears grow about escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Tehran has blamed Israel for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, during his visit to the city in early August for the swearing-in ceremony of Iran's new President, Masoud Pezeshkian

Israel has not officially accepted responsibility for the event, but it has triggered a strong response from Iran, who has vowed to seek revenge for Haniyeh's death no matter what.

Western countries have been attempting to persuade Iran not to retaliate against Israel, fearing it could lead to a major increase in tensions in the region.

During the recent weekend, Italy's Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani engaged in discussions with his Iranian counterpart as a continuation of diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the current situation.

Despite this, Iran remains committed to retaliating and is not afraid of the consequences.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Iran's response to the terrorist attack in Tehran by Israel will be clear and carefully planned. We are not afraid of a conflict escalating, but we are not actively seeking it out, unlike Israel.

Italian Foreign Minister Mr. Tajani emphasized the importance of moderation and constructive behavior to stop the ongoing cycle of military actions in the region, which only results in further suffering.

Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and another high-ranking official participated in a phone call after Hezbollah, a Shiite militia backed by Iran, launched a rocket and drone strike on Israel.

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, announced that his troops launched more than 300 rockets in response to Israel's assassination of senior commander Fuad Shukr in July.

The Israeli Defense Force experienced only minimal damage from the attack and responded with a preemptive strike on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after discovering plans to launch missiles into Israel. During a span of seven hours, the IDF deployed 100 jet fighters to attack more than 40 locations in Lebanon.

Netanyahu warned that the bombings were not the conclusion of the issue in Israel's dispute with Hezbollah, indicating additional measures to alter the status quo in the northern region without providing specific information.

This new development aligns with a Hamas official's refusal of the fresh Israeli terms proposed during ceasefire discussions in Gaza on Sunday.
